Kaabo

Kaabo products are popular as base scooters for racing. Actually, the most popular is the Wold Warrior. The Kaabo Wolf Worrier model introduced a rigid steering column that incorporates a dual-shock, from bars to wheels, as seen in the picture on the right. This solves a big issue that plagues the sport as it evolves and is why many racers use this platform as their base unit. It solved the single stem wabble that develops on the Dualtron at speed and under the stress of agressive riding.

As a regular fast commuter scooter, a single stem takes a lot of the “road” out of the road-feel. At lower speeds, a single stem can feel like driving a lincoln continental, mushy but in a good way. If you’re on a track that’s smooth, you need predictability, the Wolf delivers this, and that is why it’s a popular choice.

Personal note:
I ride a Dualtron in NYC most days and appreciate single stem picking up the scary vibration of crappy road conditions.
